Week of September 8th

• Unit 1 retakes are taking place this week. Make sure your child has sent in the testing contract and you have signed up for your preferred day on signupgenius.com
• I demonstrated to students today how to access the online textbook and workbook so they could see the wealth of resources that are available to them for studying.
• An answer key to the unit 1 I Can Statements has now been posted under "study guides"
• I have added a "videos" tab for students. I will add videos as we use them in class. Currently you can find a song to help students classify real numbers.
• This week we will continue in unit 2 by learning the basics of integers and absolute value. Students will also learn how to compare and order rational numbers.
• A quiz is planned for Friday over classifying real numbers, integers and absolute value, and comparing and ordering rational numbers.
