This week we are finishing up with real-life percent concepts and will end the year with two-step and multi-step equations. A short quiz over sales commission and percent of change will be given tomorrow (Tuesday). The sales tax, tips, and discounts quiz will also be returned tomorrow so please be on the lookout for it to come home.

End of year exams will be given on next Tuesday and Wednesday. On Tuesday students will take exams in periods two, four and six. On Wednesday students will take exams in periods one, three, and five.

Now that all Milestone testing is complete, we will spend the last couple of weeks digging deeper into some of the 7th grade concepts we have covered this year. This week we will be applying percent's to real life with sales tax, tips, discounts, commission, percent of change, and percent of error. A short quiz will be given on Wednesday over sales, tips, and discounts.

Final exams will be given the last three days of school. I will post an exact schedule when it becomes available. As for a study guide, students will not have an official one because this material does not form a unit; however, students will have notes for studying purposes in their spirals. Practice work will also be given in class as well as for homework to help aid in studying also.
