On Friday, I returned the Exponents and Order of Operations quiz. We went over the quiz in class, and students were asked to bring the quiz home for you to see.
This week were are reading, writing, and evaluating algebraic expressions. Notes and examples can be found in the students' spiral notebooks.
Next Wednesday, the 20th, marks the end of the semester; therefore, exams are planned for Tuesday and Wednesday. 1st and 5th periods will test on Tuesday and 2nd and 6th periods will test on Wednesday. The exam will cover all concepts covered so far in unit 3. The topics that will be covered from unit 3 can be found in parts A, B, and C on the unit 3 study guide.. Students could also see questions from previous units so students should look over their unit 1 and 2 tests also.
