Unit 1 retest

Today I returned the unit 1 math test. The students were instructed to bring it home tonight and share it with you. Please sit down and
go over the test with your child in the next couple of nights. We went over all of the correct answers in class today. 
 
I have decided to offer a retake opportunity for the unit 1 test.
Students were given contracts today (if they chose to get
one) to bring home and have signed. Contracts must be returned before students are allowed to retake the test. Testing will take place after school from 3:00 - 4:30 on the 9th, 10th, and 11th. To sign up to retest you will need to visit http://signupgenius.com and sign up for the one day that works best for your schedule. A link is also available under the websites tab.

Once you have accessed signupgenius.com:

1. Click "find a signup" at the top of the page
2. Search by email (use my email address: [email protected]
3. Click "unit 1 retest" and sign up for your preferred day. (There are only 26 available slots per day)

To prepare for the retest, students should be working out practice problems at home. Problems can be found using the websites on this weebly page as well as the online textbook and workbooks. You Tube is also an awesome sight to search for instructional videos. I am also adding some "I Can Statements" for unit 1 under the "study guide tab".
