Because of the short week, A squared is going to be a study hall/reading time/make up work time this morning; therefore, I announced to all students that there would be no need for after school tutoring today. If students were going to stay after school for help, they were given the opportunity to come to me during the 35-40 minute A squared time today for help if needed.
As for class, we will be solving one-step equations this week. Students will learn the proper algebraic way to solve equations by keeping the equation balanced at all times. Students will also need their devices this week/tomorrow for an activity. This week students can be working on Part A of their study guide.
The unit 4 test, as well as a quiz, were returned last week to the students and answers were given in class. Students were also allowed to ask as many questions as necessary. The grades have been posted in Infinite Campus for you to view. Please log in to view your child's grades, because the progress report grade that came home last week is now more accurate.
