Sorry for the late post...I was out of the building Monday and Tuesday attending the gifted conference in Athens.
This week we are continuing our study of proportions by using them to solve percent problems. Notes can be found on pages 43-44 of the students' math spirals. Students will also be participating in a couple of hands-on activities to practice this concept.
By the end of this week, students should have parts A and B of the unit 5 study guide completed. A quiz will be given on Friday over these two sections of the study guide.
Midterms are coming up on March 14th and 15th. Math and Social Studies will be given on the 14th, and Science and L.A. will be given on the 15th. More details will come next week as to what will be covered on the test.
