Week of March 16th

This week we are beginning unit 6: Area and Volume. The students were given their new study guides yesterday. Students may use calculators on this study guide as long as I can see their steps/work on their paper. Students will only have two weeks to complete this study guide. Because of this, students will need to stay on top of their study guide and complete problems as topics are covered in class. We will test over unit 6 before spring break. This week we are covering area of triangles, quadrilaterals, and irregular figures. A quiz over this material is planned for Thursday/Friday of this week.
