- The GCF/LCM quizzes were returned yesterday. We went over all of the answers in class and students were allowed to ask questions and get clarification if needed. Students were asked to bring the quiz home for parents to see. The grades have been posted to Infinite Campus, so please check out your child's current average.
- This week we are finishing up the distributive property and beginning dividing fractions. Students will learn to model and use the standard algorithm. Below I am including the lesson on distributive property.
- Due to a family emergency, I will not have tutoring on Wednesday this week. Because of this, I have posted some GCF/LCM practice, along with answers, under the extra practice tab. If your child struggled with the last quiz, please have them complete this practice at home. The I Can Statements are also a great source for extra practice. That answer key is also included.
- Please make sure that your child is diligently working on their unit 1 study guide. By now students should have parts A, B, and C complete. By the end of the week, they can also complete part E and the modeling portion of part D.
