Decimal Quiz

I am in the process of grading today's decimal quiz.  I am noticing  many students are having difficulties borrowing when subtracting and making  multiplication errors. Many students are also struggling with the process of long division, especially when the divisor is also a decimal. This material will be seen again on future quizzes and  tests. Students will have decimal homework Thursday night and over the weekend to continue practicing these concepts. The quizzes will be returned to the students by Friday, so please look for them to come home so you may review with your child. I have posted several long division and dividing decimal videos here to Weebly for your child to use at home.  There is also a decimal practice packet under the extra practice tab. Below are two websites in addition to the online textbook that you can use at home to help your children. These sites are also included under "helpful websites".

    will help them work on learning them as well as their speed. It allows     
    them to practice a mixture or focus on specific tables.

    in a variety of formats and on many of them you can stipulate what you     
    want. It is fast and no two worksheets are the same. This means you can     
    create many forms of the same worksheet.
